200+ Art Ideas

This art book is filled with hundreds of creative art ideas (lessons) that a class can complete in one session. I wrote this book to share my experiences, primarily for children, because I want every student to love art and have a smile on their face as they enjoy the creative process. It includes photos of students engaged in art activities, often noting their ages or grades.

This revised edition offers many new

ideas, alongside some that are timeless. Additionally, it provides insights into how your students can win art contests. (My students have won thousands of dollars in

savings bonds).

This book outlines art materials for numerous lessons, along with sourcing information for specialized items.

I enclosed a chapter about discipline in the art room

as well as art hints and philosophy. 200+ Art Ideas has sold over 25,000 copies.

It was self-published and has been revised five times. Book sales were paused after we moved to Germany, where my wife and I were selected to teach for the U.S.

Department of Dependent Schools (children of the military).
